Pioneer Valley HS

August 14, 2017

Issue 1, Vol. 3

Every year, Pioneer Valley High School organizes a Link Crew that serves freshmen and helps to break the ice and ease the nerves that freshmen are being held back by. Students involved in Link Crew put in extra work before and during summer vacation to prepare for the freshman orientation. Link Leaders are known to have great enthusiasm for the school and our students. They are here to spread their energy & spirit, and help to anyone in need. Everyone remembers their first day of high school. Link Crew creates a memorable, fun, and comfortable first day for every freshman.

Link Crew Helps Freshman "Stick Together"

A new school year has officially started and PVHS Link Crew got it off to a great start with a back to school dance. Panthers from all Classes celebrated their return to PV by dancing to great music, laughter and having a great time in general.  It was a free dance for all classes with a student ID.

What Are Saturdays For?   Just Ask Last Year's Seniors:

All around the United States students prepare for their first day of school. Going out weeks before to stores to Kop aka (purchase) new clothes for the school year. But one of the most important days is the first day, the day every one chooses the best outfit from the clothes they got. They choose their best outfit to showcase their individuality, their personality, and in most cases just to stunt (impress, show off) on people. So for the first week of school I look around the Pioneer Valley campus and saw some great, fresh, and flamboyant outfits. These are some of the "freshest" outfits I saw.

Fashion Killaz

-David Penaloza  (ig@neemo____)

Subtle flex: Starting here with my good friend Jaiden Reyes (12) (ig @jbrreeezyy). For his first day of school he decided to Subtle flex. So starting from the ground up, on his feet he is rocking (wearing) some all-white Nike Air Max 90. That he got for steal at the Nike store at the Pismo outlet, he got them for $60 which normally those shoes go for $120 or more. For some pants he is wearing some Khaki Levis which he got at the Pismo outlets, he does not remember which store specifically but there levies you can get those anywhere. And to my opinion the key item to his outfit is his red, white and navy-blue Chino Tommy Hilfiger Collared shirt. Which he did not want to reveal the store and price of because "the game is sold not told".

Now one of my other friends, the beautiful Angela Montes (12) (ig@xoangg). She decided to wear a black blouse shirt to complement her black hair, which surprisingly she got at JCpenny for around $15. For her jeans she is wearing some ripped blue jeans to show her edgy side, $20 at Fashion Max. On her feet she is wearing some brown leather heeled shoes which she also kopped for $20 at Fashion Max. Wich shows that you don’t have to break the bank to be a Fashion killa.

Finally, the mega flexer Manuel Mora (12). My boy Manuel decided to flex on every single body. First of all, he is wearing some Kanye West Adidas yeezy boost 350 v2 zebras which he was blessed to get for a great price with the goat app. Those shoes retail at $1200 and more. This man is also wearing an eco drive watch he got at tradesy.com for an alarming $375. For pants he is wearing Pacsun skinny cropped jeans he kopped for $55. Also, under his $80 champion reverse weave big logo hoodie he was wearing a $95 Fear of god x pacsun black tee. Miguel real flexed on everybody his first day back to school.
