"I liked the way my team played today, they did good. They started off rough in the beginning, but did really good towards the end of the half. I'm proud of my team for winning the last two games. One away and one home, a win is good. We do have a chance to make it to CIF this year. We play some tough games throughout the season, but we have a chance if they work hard"
-Steven Martinez (Coach)
"I think I played well on offense, but I felt I should have done better on defense. As a team I think we learned to 'sink the sword' and finish games strong. I plan to improve on the fundamentals and watch film to do better in the next game. The most exciting part of the game was towards the end when we had the game under control and the stands were going crazy. My favorite play was when I blocked for Jaiden Reyes and he had a great run for his first touchdown. I believe we have a good chance of making it to CIF. I think we have a lot of potential and talent. We just need to take it week by week" -Andy Cortez (12)
"Honestly, I think I did alright, I could have done better. I have higher standards, the only thing I could've wished I would have done different is catch every single pass. I can't do anything, but move on and prepare to play AG. The most exciting part of the game was every play my team played when they scored, because a lot of the players had a chance to score. I do see us going to CIF and winning games. It is just a matter of wanting it and I am going to ball out for my team this year. Especially since its senior year I am going to give it everything I have" -Jonathan Salazar(12)
"Well I think my performance was pretty good on Friday night. I wish I would've made it in the end zone on my last kick-off, but again it was 15 yards back and needed 2 little yards to make it. What I learned from the game was what I have learned and still continue to learn, to play with heart and a whole lot of ganas. I plan to continue to improve on my punts and field goals and kick-offs. My kick-offs are good, but there's always room to get better. The most exciting part the game was when I got to kick-off to start the game. My favorite play was when we scored, because I got to hit my first extra point through the uprights and kick-off once again. Everybody has chances for CIF but like I said earlier, if we all play with heart and ganas, we will have that chance to go to CIF. "
-Edgar Zacarias(11)
"I think I did pretty good, I wish that we scored more in the first half. I plan to improve for AG by taking practice more serious and go full speed during our practices. The most exciting part of the game was when we scored the first touchdown. If we keep playing how we are right now we might have a chance to go to CIF" -Luis Solorio(12)

Our Frosh Football team went against San Marcos in what can only be considered an annihilation. Our panthers scored 3 TDs within the first half taking the lead thanks to Tommy Nuniez who kept our frosh team cheering and ready to go 2-0 this season. Our offense might have let San Marcos score once but we took that W with the final of 38 to 7; what a proud game for our panthers to celebrate. And in words from Head Coach Buddy Garcia after the win "Win with Honor, show respect" and they sure did that. Congrats to our Freshman team!
-Daniel Rodriguez & Andrea Meza
"Well for us I think we did good out there, but our defense did a little sloppy. Like how they didn't wrap up right, but anyways, we did good except for a couple of plays on defense but it was a good win." -Isaiah Porraz (#63)
"Our team did pretty good and we came out pretty strong. I think I came out very strong. This isn't a one-man team, it's a family team that pulled that W." Tommy Nuniez (#5)
"As far as tonight's game against San Marcos, my performance was really good. As far as our next game, my goal is to play starter." Irving Camarena (#59)
"I thought we did pretty well today. We got everybody in a play and that’s our goal as a coach, to get everyone in a play and on that field. Everyone executed today and we got about 38 points on the board and our defense played strong and allowed 7 points. Honestly everyone in the game, offense and defense teams, did a really good job." -Coach Garcia
